Although we honour Martial Arts traditions that go back centuries, we are dynamic and are constantly seeking new and innovative ways to empower our students. The primary goal of our school is to teach our students to become LEADERS in life; the future leaders of our community.
In our Martial Arts programs, we do teach the mastering of flying kicks and breaking boards, but this is not our main focus. Our students are shown how these incredible physical skills are merely tools they use as they develop:
- respect
- discipline
- self-confidence
- focus
- fitness
- humility
Studies show martial arts training not only builds children’s physical fitness & coordination, it also improves classroom performance, behaviour, and self-esteem - and does it better than regular sports and fitness programs.
For children ages 7 to 12 we offer a choice of training in either Taekwon-Do ( ITF ), Mixed Martial Arts and Karate-Do ( Shotokan ).All of these programs, regardless of your preference will help your child build motor skills, increase concentration, and develop the self confidence they will need to succeed in this ever changing world.
All children's classes are specifically designed around children's endurance and concentration levels. The classes are divided into advanced (Master Club), intermediate (Black Belt Club) and beginners (Basic) classes, so your child will get the personal attention they need and deserve. We take the time to get to know you and your child so we can help them achieve all their goals in life.
